Our range of insulated male disconnects (often referred to spade terminals) allows you to simply:
- Strip your wire
- Crimp on the disconnect
- Connect to your female Disconnect (and no, don’t use the hole to screw into a battery terminal)
Creating easy, maintainable, temporary connections, perfect for simple connections to PCB’s, troubleshooting inside a control panel, and creating connections with plugs or sockets that have female disconnects.
These disconnects come pre-insulated, no need for tape or soldering, crimp and go.
These disconnects have a mating connector, female disconnects, that allow you to easily insert the tab and provide a temporary connection.
Important:
Review the disconnect colours to match your wire sizes for your wiring application. A poor crimp could result in improper connections; we don’t want you starting fires.
Review the tab width (mm) since this determines the mating compatibility with your female disconnects. The female disconnect slot width and the male tab width need to match for a reliable connection.
