Description

Major Tech MT310 Socket ELCB & Polarity Tester

Quickly verify socket wiring and ELCB trip current

Plug the MT310 into a wall socket to confirm wiring status with bright neon indicators, view AC voltage on the LCD, and test earth leakage circuit breakers with adjustable trip current.

Key Features

  • Designed to test 3-wire 230V AC circuits and Earth Leakage Circuit Breakers (ELCBs)
  • AC voltage indication on LCD: 150V AC to 245V AC
  • Adjustable ELCB trip current with separate test button: 10 mA, 15 mA, 20 mA, 25 mA, 30 mA, 35 mA (±1.75 mA at 220V AC)
  • Correct wiring indication via bright neon lamps
  • Safety rated CAT IV 300V and CAT III 600V
  • Double injection rubber housing; protection class IP40
  • Operates on 230V systems; operating voltage 216 – 264V AC, 50/60Hz
  • Power supplied from the circuit under test
  • Operating temperature: 0°C to 40°C
  • Dimensions: 130 x 69 x 32 mm; Weight: 130 g
  • Standards: IEC 61010/EN 61010; IEC 61557-7/EN 61557-7

Wiring Indication Status

  • Wiring Correct
  • No Earth
  • Live and Neutral Reversed
  • No Neutral
  • Live and Earth Reversed
  • No Live

Note: Neutral/Earth reversed is not detected.

Simple Operation

  • Socket polarity test: Plug into a 16A socket outlet and use the neon indication to identify wiring status.
  • Voltage indication: Plug in to display AC voltage on the LCD.
  • ELCB test: Set rotary switch to 10 mA, hold TEST, then slowly increase setting until trip occurs and note the trip current.
